This company was Founded in 2018 in an effort to provide Quality products at affordable prices and to share "Southern" inspired BBQ with the surrounding area. Throughout my life many people have shared their cooking abilities with me. Their willingness to share that with me has inspired me to pass it along. I'm starting this adventure as a means to not only share that passion with everyone, and provide for my family, but as a way of showing others that "Time, Patience, Hard work, Dedication and Trusting in the Lord.” Can and will payoff for those who put the effort in.

 

In 2001, I was given a small gas smoker as a Christmas gift. I have been working at perfecting my rubs, sauces and techniques for smoked BBQ ever since. While I have had many wonderful outcomes, I have experienced several failures as well. But I was taught at a young age to not give up and to let my failures strengthen me. After a large limb "crushed" my first smoker, my parents were gracious enough to buy me a replacement. My first attempt at brisket ended up burnt and unable to salvage but I still didn't give up. In 2016 I started with an old water tank and had a dream to build my own "Backyard Smoker". After a lot of research and a lot of changes to plans, I was feeling overwhelmed with the project, but I didn't give up. After a little over a year, I finally completed it and brought it home. My Maiden voyage was pastrami, pork roasts, ribs and baked potatoes. What a feast we had! Since then, I have always wanted to share my passion with others. My desire is to provide BBQ that is made from as fresh a product as possible, with very few, if any, store bought rubs or sauces. We also know that great food can be affordable as well.

 

I have shared my BBQ with friends and family for all these years. From cooking for personal parties, clubs we belong to, and even church events. Some may say that’s quite an adventure you're setting out on. But you know what? If we don't ever try, we won't know if we are able to succeed. We all have room for improvement.
